J. Lo ‘World of Dance’ Winner To Teach Dance at Girls Inc. Fundraiser
Want to help Girls Inc. inspire Westchester girls to be strong, smart, and bold while shaking your groove thang? Join Girls Inc. on Feb. 23, 2020 between 3:30 and 5:30 p.m. at Infinite Motion Studio, 75 Main St., Tuckahoe, NY.
Michael Salem, winner of Jennifer Lopez’s World of Dance will be teaching two hours of salsa and hip hop lessons.
The cost for an adult ticket is $75 and $50 for children under 17. You can also donate to sponsor a girl to dance. Light food and refreshments will be served and each attendee will get a future session with Michael for attending.

All proceeds will go toward new programming for Girls Inc. Westchester, as well as expanding programming into more Westchester schools.
Girls Inc. Westchester‘s programming focuses on the development of the whole girl.
They set girls, primarily of color, up with mentoring relationships and researched-based programming to help girls overcome obstacles and achieve their goals, lead fulfilling and productive lives, break the cycle of poverty, and become role models in their community.
Girls Inc. Westchester Programs are targeted toward girls ages 9 to 18 with a focus on the middle and high school years, the developmentally crucial stages when having a girls-only space to share, build confidence, and interact with positive role models can make all the difference.
Girls Inc. Westchester Teaches Media Literacy; Violence Prevention and Safety; Financial Literacy; Leadership and Community Action; Health and Sexuality; College and Career Readiness; and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math). By helping girls to think critically about the world, avoid at-risk circumstances, confront and overcome challenges, and envision their own potential, Girls Inc. Westchester gives our girls the promise of a brighter future.
Girls Inc. Westchester Facilitators have been extensively trained to deliver programs that are engaging, relevant and fun. In partnership with local schools and community-based organizations, we reach the girls who need us most by providing instructors who understand their needs.
Girls Inc. Westchester Program Locations are found throughout Westchester. Our in-school programming is delivered in Ossining, New Rochelle, and Yonkers. Our Leadership Councils, which are open to all Middle and High School girls, meet at our offices in White Plains. We also host special events in additional communities upon request.
