Berger Hardware Wins Young Retailer of the Year; Yonkers Woman Murdered
Here’s what’s happening?Today in the 914,?according to Westchester Woman:
1.) Congratulations to Westchester woman?Aimee Nichols, a co-owner and manager at Berger Hardware! She won the North American Retail Hardware Association’s Young Retailer of the Year award, in the category for stores with multiple locations.
Berger Hardware has been family owned and operated since 1937, and has locations in Hawthorne and Port Chester. Nichols, a Valhalla resident, is also a Daily Voice Community Advisor and is on the Board of Directors for the Valhalla Ambulance Corp.
2.) Police are looking searching for a Yonkers man who has been deemed a person of interest in his wife’s death. Christina Maniotis, 30, was found dead in their sixth floor apartment on Sunnyside Drive Monday.
