1.)  Janet Langsam’s grandmother could have been a famous chef, however in the early 1900s only men were allowed to assume the of title “Chef de Cuisine.” Now, the CEO ArtsWestchester is proud to welcome two women who not only earned the title, but have their own Westchester restaurants.

Josyane Colwell of Le Moulin Catering and Leslie Lampert of Cafe of Love and Ladle of Love, will serve cuisine committee co-chairs for ArtsWestchester’s ArtsBash event on May 20.

2.) You don’t have to spend a lot of money to make sure your pets are are cared for and  up-to-date on shots! Your dog, cats and ferrets can get free rabies vaccinations on Sunday, April 24 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Stamen Animal Hospital at 61 Quaker Ridge Rd. in New Rochelle.
