Finding the right doctor can be a tedious and stressful task. Especially when your lady parts are involved. Our friends at Yelp.com are taking out some of the guesswork for us and have compiled a list of their highest rated gynecologists in Westchester.
Here’s what they came up with:
Levine Nanci, MD (5 out of 5 stars) – 2345 Boston Post Rd., Larchmont (914) 833-0444
Here’s what Lele V. said about her:
I’ve been seeing Dr. Levine for almost a decade. She is kind, honest, understanding, but straight to the point. I don’t feel like a number in a factory. She genuinely cares for me as a human being, beyond my womanly well-being. Yes, she is quite busy and sometimes I have to wait a few minutes to see her, but she is worth it. I will also add that many of the other nurses at LWC are awesome. Front desk- ehhhh, for sake of my rave review of Dr Levine, I’ll suck up their lack of cheer. Honestly, if I had another child, I would be honored to have her deliver my baby. Until then, I’ll see her at my appointments.
Dr. Regina Giuffrida (5 out of 5 stars) – 1825 Commerce St., Yorktown (914) 962-5060
Here’s what Siobhan S. said about her:
If only she practiced dentistry and internal medicine, I’d never see another physician again! Dr. G. is intelligent, supportive and has the BEST bedside manner ever — no matter what the situation. She has a busy practice, but it’s worth the wait if you want the best.
Mieszerski Laura MD (3 out of 5 stars) – 1985 Crompound Rd., Cortlandt Manor (914) 739-1697
Here’s what Supek L. said about her:
Full Circle Women’s Health (4 out of 5 stars) – 450 Mamaroneck Ave., Harrison (914) 421-1500Here’s what Elisa C. said about them:
I just went to my first appointment with Dr. M and she was great. She sat me in her office first to get to know me and ask me questions. Then she did the checkup. She was great. Was all about asking me questions about myself and making me feel comfortable. We discussed things for my future (having children, etc) and made it less of a scary subject. Def would recommend her to all ladies. Also, I was able to book my appt. about 3 weeks away, so not too bad. I’ve had Dr’s where it’s 6 months out.
I switched over to Full Circle at 20 weeks because I wanted a natural birth and it was the best decision I made. The midwives, Robin and Michelle, really took their time with me at every visit. I never felt rushed or ashamed to ask any questions. They are very knowledgeable and caring people. The whole staff always greeted me by my first name. I love that it’s a full service office. I was able to see the midwives, take prenatal yoga with Beth, get my prenatal massages with Suzu, do acupuncture, see the lactation consultant, Regina and take all of my birthing classes at one place.
Christine Vyskocil MD (3 1/2 out of 5 stars) – 170 Maple Ave., White Plains (914) 949-8338
Here’s what Kassy M. said about her:
Dr. Vyskocil is great. I have been seeing her for several years now and she has always been very kind and professional. Recently, I had the pleasure (no pun intended) of being seen my Dr. Howard, and he was amazing, so I recommend him as well.
