A good portion of New York State Assemblywoman Sandy Galef’s time is spent reasoning with people who don’t agree with her.

So, in theory, if anyone knows how to resolve conflicts, it should be an elected official.

Westchester Woman asked Assemblywoman Galef what the best advice she ever received was. She shared her views on conflict resolution and what to do when someone doesn’t agree with you or holds a different position than you do.

Galef says the key to understanding is confrontation and discussion.
