A good portion of New York State Assemblywoman Sandy Galef’s time is spent reasoning with people who don’t agree with her. So, in theory, if anyone knows how to resolve conflicts or attempts to resolve a conflict, it should be an elected official.

Westchester Woman asked New York State Assemblywoman Sandy Galef what the best advice she was ever given was. She explained her views on conflict resolution. and what should you do when someone doesn’t agree with you or when someone has a different position than you do? Galef says the key to understanding is confrontation and discussion.
