Pace Helps Returning Veterans Soldier On In Face Of Financial Struggles

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. — When returning home from active duty, many veterans wonder what’s next. White Plains Executive Earns ’40 Under 40′ Recognition From PR Week

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. — A Senior Vice President at White Plains-based HEINEKEN USA was named a 2016 “40 Under 40” recipient by PRWeek. Tara Rush, the Chief Corporate Relations Officer at Heinken, earned the recognition. The award from PRWeek honors 40 professionals under the age of 40 who are making outstanding contributions to the communications industry and who are viewed as emerging leaders.

Yonkers to pay $20,000 in false arrest case

Kevin King of Mount Vernon claimed that he was standing near the corner of Elm Street and Nepperhan Avenue on Nov. 23, 2012 when he was detained by police, taken to the City Jail and strip searched. Yonkers will pay a $20,000 settlement to a man who claimed he was falsely arrested.
