Growlers’ Feast of the Seven Dogfishes; Buzzfeed Shouts Out Westchester County Fair; Who Will Be the New DA?

1.) As?Westchester families?prepare?for their Feast of the Seven Fishes on Christmas Eve, Growlers Beer Bistro in Tuckahoe will host its own take on the Italian tradition.

The fourth annual Feast of the Seven Dogfishes will be held on Dec. 17 from 7 to 10 p.m. where seven of Dogfish Head’s unique brews will be on tap to perfectly compliment festive fish dishes on the menu.

Growlers will be serving up rare brews like the “Midas Touch,” one of Dogfish Head’s “Ancient Ales” made from ingredients that were found in and repopulated from 2,700 year-old drinking vessels from the King Midas’ Tomb.

Were excited for people to come out for Growlers Feast of the Seven Dogfishes, because its a really festive holiday event that features this great brewery,” says Chris Giardini, the bar manager at Growlers. “Its a great way for Westchester residents to try some unusual beers that they just arent going to find anywhere else or at other times of the year.

Growlers hopes that the event will bring together family and friends for some fun during the holiday season.
