Here’s what’s happening today, Jan. 13, in the 914, according to Westchester Woman:

1.) After hearing about the future of our country from President Barack Obama in last night’s State of the Union address, today is New York’s turn. Gov. Andrew Cuomo will deliver the State of the State address today at 12:30 p.m.

Cuomo says?that he will focus on creating economic opportunities for all citizens, strengthening infrastructure and being a progressive leader for New York in 2016.

The governor has already outlined some proposals, including:

  • Raising the minimum wage to $15
  • Giving local municipalities award money in exchange for consolidating with other municipalities
  • Expanding Internet accessi
  • Investing in poverty reduction
  • Expanding college opportunities for inmates

2.) Justin Bieber, a.k.a. “The Biebs,” was spotted in Westchester?yesterday. What did he decide to do in our fair county? Go bowling.

Lohud.com reports that he was at Bowlmor Lanes at 47 Tarrytown Rd. in White Plains around 4 p.m.
