She and her husband, Paul, live in White Plains where they raised four beautiful daughters.

Cathy’s words of wisdom:

“I want to be a part of the event [YWCA’s Turn Up the Heat Fundraiser] because of the opportunity to share my experiences both as a woman business owner and as the mother of four daughters. It’s so important that girls today have a female role model to realize that success is within themselves. I have acted as a mentor over the years to high school girls and have loved seeing the excitement when they begin to believe in themselves and their dreams. The YWCA offers girls and women the opportunity to gain confidence and grow their dreams.

“I think that the ‘secret’ to my success is loving what I do and having the confidence in myself and our products to approach new people every day.”

“What I love most about being a chef is sharing our sweets with people and seeing the happiness that it brings to them. Food, and particularly sweets, make people smile!”
