Student Advocacy, Inc. is the only nonprofit in the Westchester and Putnam County region whose exclusive purpose is to provide legal services on education matters at no cost to families with limited financial resources.
Founded in 1982, Student Advocacy, Inc. provides counsel and legal representation for children and youth facing challenges, including learning and physical disabilities, mental health, and other obstacles that impact learning.
The evening honored six inspiring students from districts including White Plains, Harrison, Yonkers, Rye Neck, and Greenburgh Eleven who have overcome significant personal, emotional, and academic challenges to succeed in school.
NBC 4 New York’s Dave Price emceed the event, which brought together families, educators, advocates, and community leaders from across the region.
