Nan Hayworth Named to Board of Directors of Westchester Health Care Corporation

The Honorable Nan Hayworth, MD, has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the Westchester County Health Care Corporation (WCHCC), which operates the Westchester Medical Center Health Network (WMCHealth), the pre-eminent provider of integrated health care services in the Hudson Valley.

Hayworth, a former congresswoman representing New Yorks 19th Congressional District, is a board-certified ophthalmologist and currently serves as a consulting medical director with The Kinetix Group.

She previously ran her own medical practice and was a partner in a large multispecialty medical group in Westchester. As a member of the U.S. Congress from 2011-2013, she served on the House Financial Services Committee and the joint House-Senate conference committee that addressed Medicare reimbursement levels.

Hayworth earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from Cornell University Medical College and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Princeton University.

She serves on the boards of ConservAmerica, the Goodman Institute, the Independent Womens Forum and United Way of Westchester and Putnam counties.
