1.) Congratulations to Westchester’s Christine Gritmon! Christine is the?engagement editor and does events and branding at lohud. She was named in Editor & Publisher’s list of 25 Under 35 2016.?She’s in?charge of bringing the newspaper and its website into the modern age through social media and community outreach.

Not only is she a social media extraordinaire (there isn’t a platform you’re on that she isn’t), but she’s also a professional selfie taker. Here she is with Westchester Woman’s editor-in-chief.

2.) It has been said by naturalists, hippies and earth-crunchy people alike, being in nature heals. But now Westchester hospitals know better too. Northern Westchester Hospital in Mount Kisco is teaming up with the Westchester Land Trust in Bedford Hills to offer wellness hikes and walking meditation.

“Developing a more intentional and intimate relationship with our environment yields countless benefits, and land conservation is an important tool in keeping us healthy and supporting our own well-being,” Keeva Young-Wright, President, Northern Westchester Hospital Foundation told Daily Voice.
