(Here’s Where to Watch a Screening White Plains’ Buckout Road Horror Flick)
Ok, so we all lost our proverbial shit (in the BEST way) when we heard that the horror flick about White Plains’ legendarily haunted street Buckout Road was finally made.
If you didn’t see our last post on this, everything you need to know is here:
Holy crap people! It’s HERE. It’s FINALLY here. The movie about White Plains, New York’s legendary haunted Buckout Road is FINALLY coming out. AND IT LOOKS SERIOUSLY EPIC!!!!! If you don’t know what Buckout Road is, it’s a road that joins White Plains and West Harrison which has several scary legends attached to it.
After we finally got a hold of our ourselves, the next question was “Ok, so how/where to I get to see this thing?”
We didn’t have an answer for you… UNTIL NOW 😆
The movie is currently making its round in the film festival circuit and New Yorkers will have the chance to see it at the Buffalo Fantastic Film Festival.
Buckout Road will be shown on Saturday, Nov. 4 at the Dipson Eastern Hills Cinema, 4545 Transit Rd. in Williamsville, NY 14221.
That’s all the way in Erie County and is about a 6-hour drive from Westchester, according to Google’s Driving Directions. Die-hard horror fans might want to consider making a weekend out of it because the film festival is also premiering some pretty cool new Troma (the makers of The Toxic Avenger) flicks.
Troma + Buckout Road film = WIN!
As for the rest of us who can’t make it, guess we’ll just have to stay tuned and hope that the film gets a theatrical release in New York sometime soon. Fingers crossed 🤞🏻
