Amanda Saccomanno didn’t grow up wanting to be a wrestler – but when the opportunity rose, she put it in a chokehold.
“When you see something you like, you want to pursue it,” the 24-year-old Yorktown Heights resident recently told LoHud.com.
Saccomanno, who is one of two female finalists on WWE’s Tough Enough, needs your help in achieving her goal to become the WWE’s next star and win a $250,000 wrestling contract.

“I’m not just a pretty face, I’m not just a Barbie doll – I’m strong,” Saccomanno says while flexing in her audition video.
“Looks only go so far, you need to be tough.”
After she battles WWE’s Alicia Fox in a live match on Tuesday, fans will be able to vote for her via text message, social media or on the shows app. We’ll find out if Saccomanno is victorious at the end of the show which starts at 8PM on USA.
