1.) Artist Marcy B. Freedman will offer a penny for her thoughts this weekend on What Matters Most. Have you heard about the What Matters mural in Peekskill? It is a beautiful and massive mural by Lana Yu that is made from the responses of 88 people ages 4 to 80+ who are from diverse backgrounds.

Artist Lana Yu Asks What Matters Most to Westchester?

Freedman will be stationed at Yu’s mural at 1045 Park St. (next to the C-Town) on Saturday, Nov. 12 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. where she’ll conduct a face-to-face interactive performance in front of the mural.

The What Matters Most is an ongoing endeavor and is raising?funds to create free local workshops for the public in?partnership with community organizations that use word, music, movement and drama to make shared public performances available to break down barriers between neighbors.
